A look at player performances after a dominant showing from United in the Europa League.

Romero: Without doubt the world’s best 2nd choice goalkeeper. An uneventful evening for the composed shot stopper. – 7

Wan-Bissaka: Week by week the young fullback seems to do the impossible and that is constantly improve his game. Starting to look ever more a threat going forward. – 7

Maguire: Despite an early mishap , the commanding centre have had a controlled game and looked to marshal his back line throughout . – 7

Rojo: Now becoming a mainstay at the back for United in midweek games, there is no doubt this consistent run of game time has subsequently resulted in consistency in his game. – 7

Young: Having been the scapegoat for many of United’s poor performances this season, this was undoubtedly his best performance of the season to date, a lovely first touch set up Rashford to score. – 7.5

McTominay: United’s best player of the season so far in the opinion of many fans, took more initiative to drive play forward. However misplaced possession on a few occasions. – 6.5

Fred: Looked to play the deeper lying role this time in midfield and allow McTominay to push forward. A wayward back pass early in the 2nd half gave Partizan a glimmer of hope however an alert Maguire put an end to it. – 6.5

Mata: While he may have had a good game and made good runs to free up the forwards, it is clear to see that the Spanish veteran can no longer keep up with the pace and physicality of the game. 6.5

Greenwood: 3 goals in 4 games. What more need be said? There is no doubt he will be giving Olé a tough decision to make in terms of the starting 11 going forward. – 7.5

Rashford: It may sound harsh but young Marcus could have put the game to bed within the first half. His movement off the ball and in behind the defence was phenomenal, could have easily bagged a hat-trick but scored a wonderful goal. – 8

Martial: 50 million down the drain, Tony Martial scores again. There is no doubt in my mind the Frenchman has pure ice running through his veins. The calm nature in which he skipped past the Partizan defence to coolly slot the ball into the back of the net was unbelievable and made for an iconic photo. – 8.5

Garner: Had a good showing with his time on the pitch. Hopefully we get to see the youngster break into the first team on a more regular basis. – 6

Pereira: Coming on with the game dead and buried , he had little to do and seemingly little to offer. – 5.5

Lingard: Yet another meaningless substitution, offered little but didn’t need to considering the state of the game at the time. – 5.5
